EX7700 not letting me sign in
Hi since May this year my EX7700 extender won't allow any of our devices to connect. We have to keep switching the extender off, let it reboot and then it allows our devices to connect. This is really annoying because it means if we want to browse YouTube on our Smart TV we have to switch the extended off and then back on again for the TV to connect. The same goes for any of our phones, tablet or laptop. Our devices can 'see' the extender but when it signs in, it gets as far as obtaining IP address, saves it and then repeats ad infinitum. This is when we have to switch extender on and off again. It is very annoying and we're considering ditching it and getting something better.

1. what firmware is on it?
2. what router is it connected to?
3. what method of setup did you uses? WPS, using the app, or using the installation assistant?
- Smarty22TutorHi, thanks for quick response. The extender is using firmware: V1.0.0.226
The WiFi router I'm using is supplied by TalkTalk and is a Sagemcom FAST 5364-3.
On purchase last year, the set up was using the WPS button. I also have the Nighthawk app but don't use it much.
As I say until the start of May we never had an issue with it. I've just come in from work and have to switch it off and on so my phone can connect again.- plemansGuru - Experienced User
I've had a strong dislike of the sagemcom devices. seems like I see a lot of issues on here from users on that router.
Try factory resetting the extender and installing it using the installation assistant. Seems like more users have had success that route.
