EX800 Firmware Update used as Extender

I am running a EX8000 as a Extender off of a XR700 as my main router. There is a firmware update for my EX8000, how can I update this firmware on the EX8000 since it is being used as a extender and I can not log into the EX8000 specifically? Any help would be really great. Thanks

    Use the Nighthawk app by Netgear. It can detect what Netgear devices you’re near and install updates. I just did this a few minutes ago and it even gave me the option to auto-update firmware from now on.
