Not without some details about this anonymous camera.

    Is it wired or wireless?

If it is wired, just plug it into a LAN port on the EX8000.

The best people to talk to are the camera makers.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh - NETGEAR Communities

You might like to search there for messages related to your issue.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Thank you. I have tried checking that site and the don't have much in the way of information. Also, the camera'sa manufacturer was Samsung, who sold out to Hanwha.

The camera is wireless, Wisenet model # is SNC-79447BW. They didnt come with a NVR ( which is what the cameras can record with). The manual, plus other websites say the camera can be used as a standard alone. Not connected to the VDN. I just don't know how to accomplish that. Thank you for your time.

Sadly, its something you'd have to talk to the camera manufacturer about.

The router/extender just supply the connection. Connecting your devices to it is the responsibility of the camera/device you're trying to connect.
