its European Region and therefore channels up to 140 should be fine. As i wrote in my initial post, i tried with a different 5GHz Access Point and there i had no issues at all for the same Channels that refuse to work with the EX8000

I understand that you've stated that region. do you have that region setup on the EX8000? AND on your devices accessing it?

Have you tried a factory reset and re-install?
Or tried re-installing the firmware? it wouldn't be the first time firmware was corrupted. A reset only removes settings, not overwrites the firmware.

yes i did a full factory reset and also tried several different FW's
.202 / .192 / .118 and the current 206 of course
