ex8000 new firmware released : V1.0.1.186 no release notes yet
Hello,
a new firmware has been released if you press the check update button on the EX8000. This update includes a guest mode but there are no release notes yet. No idea how it works in AP mod...

Appears Netgear does not see these issues in the lab or in QA. For the non-EX8000 owner: Are the problems similar to what we experience on the EX7000 with the recent firmware (which was adding Mesh capabilities - whatever that might be)?

Hm, that was probably the most missing feature since Netgear does make WiFi Range Extenders.
Don’t upgrade to this firmware! Connection goes out often and it is unusable.
