ex8000 nighthawk X6S mesh network via AP mode

I have a Nighthawk X6S EX8000 and would like to know if the mesh WiFi will still work if in AP mode?   I have a Nighthawk X4S router and have an Ethernet cable ran to where I have the Nighthawk X6S...

Hi sgibbers17,

                          Mesh will work only when extender is configured in extender mode, but not in AP mode.
