EX8000 X6S one wifi doesn’t work

Hey there,

 

My config: Orange Livebox + 2 EX8000 (one as an "Access Point", the other one as a repeater)

Both EX8000 with a hard reset and installation of the last firmware

Smart connect and One Wifi activated

 

Problem:

The internet connection is lost when changing from access point to repeater and vice versa. I need to desactivate and reactivate WIFI on all my devices to recover an internet connection.

 

Please help.

    When you set them up, did you do it using the installation assistant or using wps? 

    Did you set the EX8000 thats acting as an extender to connect to the EX8000 acting as an AP or to the orange box? 

    Are you trying to set all 3 devices with the same ssid? 

    Also, have you tried going into the orange box and setting the AP and extender with a static ip address?

      Thanks Plemans for ur prompt answer.

      I don't use the WiFi of the LifeBox, so the both EX8000 using the same SSID (one wifi activated on the repeater)

      Both installation through the assistant.

      Same issue when using static IP for both EX8000.

      Any idea ?

        What firmware is on the EX8000?

        So basically its not roaming between the 2x ex8000's? 

        Is that correct?
