What firmware is on your EX8000?
What router are you connected back to?
Have you tried changing your routers wifi channel (which will change the extenders backhaul channel)? Maybe there's interference on the backhaul channel and its causing issues?
How large is your home? Material your interior walls are made of?
How far from the router is the extender?
many things can impact wireless connections. the EX8000 uses the wireless backhaul for connection and if there's interference, its going to create problems. the goal is to figure out how to optimize it.

What firmware is on your EX8000? - should be the most up to date.
What router are you connected back to? - Standard Verizon Fios router.
Have you tried changing your routers wifi channel (which will change the extenders backhaul channel)? Maybe there's interference on the backhaul channel and its causing issues? - I have not changed any channels. That’s not something I’m overly familiar with.

How far from the router is the extender? - the router and extender are on the same floor. Router in the front part of the house and extender in the middle. I live in an apartment and my landlord has the router and I use the extender.

What router are you connected back to? - Standard Verizon Fios router.---again, not helpful. an extender is only as good as the router its connected to. If the router is poor, the extenders going to be poor as its reliant on the router.

If you're living in an apartment, there's more wifi signals around and because of this, is going to have more interference. making sure you're on the best possible wifi channel for the backhaul and the usable signal is key for making extenders work well.https://lifehacker.com/which-wifi-channels-should-i-use-for-my-wireless-networ-1832788063?customKinja=1637678490
How large is your home? Material your interior walls are made of?------? interior wall materials make a big difference as well as placement. Sometimes moving an extender a couple feet can make a big difference if there's hvac/etc within the walls causing issues.

Ever since I updated the Firmware Version to V1.0.1.206 on my Netgear EX8000 Nighthawk X6S Tri-Band Mesh Extender it drops the signal after a few days and I need to reset the whole range extender as a new setup. Have never had issues until this firmware. Can Netflix please update the firmware???
