Extend Internet to other end of house + garage at back of lot.
Hello, I would like to extend my wifi to other end of house. I tryed one of the Nighthawk Wireless extenders (Netgear WiFi Mesh Range Estender EX7700) wirelessly. All it did was screw up everyone ...
Can I continue to use my current Netgear Router and just add the MK Mesh wired boxes. Or do I need to change to the MK router as well?
You can add the mk to your current setup. You'd just want to install the MK in access point mode to prevent a double nat

I went ahead and ordered an actual extender, not one of the mesh extenders.
I got the EX7000 to wire from my router out to the garage.
I got the EX3700 to plug into our bedroom at the opposite side of the house from my office (Router Home)
I hope this is a good choice and decision.
