Extender cannot connect to router

Question

I have a AC1200 WIfi Range Extender EX6110 i bought a while ago. I have not used it for a while but now i need it again. It was connected to my old router but i have a new one now. I did a hard reset before connecting to my new router but it does not connect. Router light does not flash.

Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?

If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.

To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
