extender ex6120 not connecting to router
The power light shows green, the wps light blinks, i press wps on router and it will not connect, I am very close to the router. I have another net gear extender that connects
to the router perfectly. ive tried the whole set up process several times with no success. Any advice?

I would hardwire a pc/laptop into the extender and install it using the installation assistant. i would avoid wps. It gets coded different between manufaturers and can cause issues.
- paddyladAspirantThanks for the reply.
Would i do that with an ethernet cable?
I did link it to a laptop and started the web process but still could not set up because it was not connected to the router.- plemansGuru - Experienced User
The setup process is what connects it to the router.
Start by factory resetting the extender. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
the after it reboots, connect the laptop to the extender with an ethernet cord. Disable the laptops wifi during setup so it doesn't default back to that connection.
then use the installation assistant. The support site has a video of the installation assistant being used. I thinks its the 2nd video on the support site.
