Adding another repeater to extend your Wi-Fi to a barn 200-300 feet away would severely degrade network speed and reliability. The ideal solution is to use a point-to-point wireless bridge. This system uses two directional antennas to create a dedicated, high-speed wireless link directly from your house to the barn, bypassing distance and interference issues. You can then connect a Wi-Fi access point in the barn to the bridge to broadcast a strong signal that uses the same network name as your house.
