Extending Wireless Range

I have a N750 model WNDR4300 V2 and I would like to extend my wireless range. I need to reach out to around 225 feet from my house. I do not have to ability to use my power lines. What would be the best way to do this? Thank you.

  • The optimal way is to use an Access Point wired back to your WNDR4300.  Ethernet is preferred, but if you have coax then that will work, too.  To use coax, you'll need MoCA adapters.

Another option is to use the Orbi system.

Only use a range extender as a last resort because the results are often disappointing.

Thank you. I started looking into a bridge.
