Failed to obtain IP address Nighthawk
. A few days ago I purchased the Nighthawk WiFI 6 System-AX18002-MK62, Downloaded the Nighthawk app and followed the set up instructions. Everything went smooth but less than 24 hours later the amber light appeared on the Nighthawk router. Looking at my Android phone at the WiFi Connections, it shows next to the Router name "Failed to obtain IP Address". Several calls to my Internet Provider (Blue Ridge Cable) and several reboots of my Modem and Router, I was connected to the internet. But looking at my phone the Nighthawk Router still shows as "Failed to obtain IP Address" but a new Router name shows as connected, the name is "BrcmAP0". I asked my Internet Provider about the BrcmAP0, thinking it must has something to do with them since it starts with "Brc" (Blue Ridge Cable). They didn't have a clue. Anyway this BrcmAP0 continues to drop the internet and I need to reboot the modem and router.to get back online. Any idea how to get the Nighthawk Router to show as connected?
