Prior to uploading the firmware to the extender, did you extract it when downloaded?

To keep it simple I just followed the prompts on the browser interface and iOS app interface. The browser interface gives more interesting feedback - says somethinfg about the file. The iOS app just says it worked and then asks me to re-do the update over and over agian.
When I looked for a downloadable file on the above link it stated that 1.0.1.20 was the current version. So, I was wondering if this was some Netgear mistake or if somebody had any more insight. As the website seems to claim 1.0.2.26 does not exist.
