Firmware Update Problems - Model EX6120

I logged in to update the firmware for my wifi extender. The update has been going on for 6 hours now and the power light is flashing but the internet has not gone back to normal - I cannot connect to it. How do I fix this?

    I ran the software update today that was supposed to help.  The extender had been working.

    It seemed to finish but now will not connect via WPS to my router.

    So frustrating!
