Firmware Update
Off late my network connetivity has become very erratic. Everytime there is disconnection it does not connect back automatically. Today when I logging into my account, it showed a message that there...

What firmware are you on? I didn't see it anywhere in your post.
You can manually update the firmware. I'll link to the support site that shows the most recent firmware and manuals.
many things can influence extenders from the router their connecting to, wireless interference, the device their connecting to, to the very nature of your house. Many materials are great at blocking wifi signals.
Have you tried changing wifi channels?
What is your internal house materials?
Have you tried moving the extender? sometimes stuff like hvac in the walls block signals and a simple move can make a large difference.
What router are you connecting back to? Sometimes its the router causing issues.
How far from the router is the extender?
What are the led's on it doing when you're connection is erratic?
Is it only the 2.4ghz connection, the 5ghz connection, or both that have the issue?

I'll try & answer one by one.
My current firmware is V1.0.1.60. I have downloaded the latest (V1.0.1.62) from the link that you gave me.
Will see how that goes.
My apartment is about 1250 Sq. ft. The router is Netgear (WN3000RPv3). Its a few years old so only 2.4Ghz available in that.
The router is about 15-20 feet away from the extender. When the network disconnects all the lights on the extender will still be green.
The Wi-Fi channel in the extender is set to auto & greyed out. I cant change that but the channel set in the router is 10. That seems to be most stable channel. Have attached a screenshot of the Wi-Fi set up too.

So wifi channels have overlap. this is what causes a lot of issues with connection problems in congested environments.

Its also why we usually recommend channel 1-6-11 in congested environments.
1250sqft isn't a huge space and if you're living in an apartment, you more than likely have a lot of wifi routers broadcasting.
What I'd try doing?
Use fastlane. You can set it up so the 2.4ghz is used for the backhaul and then retransmits on the 5ghz.
Your other option would probably be to upgrade the router. In apartment complexes, single band routers struggle and tend to be erratic due to interference.
The WN3000RP is also a wireless extender and not a router. What router do you have?
Sorry about the router number confusion. I am using Netgear D1500 as my router.
Had changed the channel to 10 after a lot of trial & error. That seemed to be one that was working best at the time.
I can only change the channel in my router. For both the extenders, the option to change the channel is greyed out.
One is set to 10 & another is on auto.
