Genie and EX7000

Hi,

 

Trying to connect to EX7000 with Netgear Genie on Android and Windows.

Genie will not let me change the login to anything but admin

EX7000 will not let me change the login to admin. Complains it's not a valid email address

 

Any advice much appreciated

    That's the problem, Netgear Genie won't let me change the login to the email address.
    It's fixed to admin and I can't change it.

      Ok now I understand yea no way to change the username for logins they will always be admin.

        The EX7000 only allows 1 account to login with and won't let me change it to admin.

        So it's impossible to use Netgear Genie with it. 

         

        Makes no sense at all

    Hello bargi

     

    When setting up the extender it would of asked for a email address have you tried to use that to log in?
