How do I disable Nighthawk MR60 Smart Connect?

I have the Nighthawk MR60 mesh system. I want to connect to 2.4G on my phone so it works with my smart lights, but it auto connects to 5G and I don't know how to change this. I can't find a way to disable smart connect.

I followed the steps on this post and went to Settings > Advanced > Setup > Wireless setup but all it had were options to change the 2.4GHZ channel and the 5GHZ channel, nothing to disable either of these.

Is there a way to do this or another workaround?
