How I configured my WN3000RP

I had many many of the same connectivity issues for months. I finally changed the Channel # on my cable modem box from the default(which on mine happen to be 11) to another number (6). I didn't really expect this to fix my problem, but I was out of other ideas, and it did! I waited about 2 months before posting this, to make sure it was really working,
my disappointment is that I don't have full control of the WN3000RP for a lot of the network settings.
