How to block a device from connecting to EX8000 Extender, but still connect to the router?
Hello --
Is it possible to configure EX8000 extenders to disallow access by certain devices (e.g. by MAC address), but still allow them to try to connect to the wifi network through the base router? This is for Sonos devices that apparently don't play nicely when connecting through extenders but otherwise work great with our Nighthawk XS6 router.
Thanks in advance,
Ramon
I figured it out. Turns out you can tell the Wifi Extender to block certain devices by MAC Address. I was able to figure out the MAC addresses for or Sonos units and block them in the Extender's control panel (Settings > Connected Devices > WiFi Devices) and since then it has been running smoothly

Hi Katrulzin,
Thank you for reaching out. You may try to go to this page on your extender's page. Settings > Connected Devices > WiFi Devices.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.
