I wouldn't. reason why is you'd have to set security as WEP for both devices. And that'd set your speed down and be incredible unsecured.
A half decent wireless extender would be a much better option if it has to be wireless.
Otherwise, if you can hardwire in the wnr614, you could run it as an access point.
