HOW TO CONNECT MY EX3700 TO MY WIFI?????

HELLO ALL IVE BEEN TRYING TO SET THIS AC750/EX3700 WIFI RANGE EXTENDER TO MY WIFI.  ALL OF THE TOPICS ARE TELLING ME TO CONNECT TO MY MODEM/ROUTER, TO THEN CONNECT MY NETGEAR EXT BUT IM NOT FINDING IN MY SETTINGS THE NETGEAR_EXT IN MY NETWORK??? I'M A BIT BAFFLED AND SOMEWHAT FRUSTRATED AT THIS POINT .  ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS RELATED TO THIS WOULD BE WELCOMED AND APPRECIATED .  I'M NOT A GURU BUT A NOVICE WITH THESE KINDS OF THINGS AND FEEL LIKE I AM MISSING SOMETHING SIMPLE ???  THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME AND INPUT.  TANYA63

    1. Caps lock. To the left of the "A" key. Please use it. It makes it hard to read all in caps. 

    2. What router are you connected the EX3700 to? 

    3. What firmware is on your EX3700? 

    4. there 2 installation videos on the support site. (and 2 on updating firmware) 1x using wps and the other using the installation assistant. They literally walk you through it. have you watched those? 

    5. If the extender was prior setup (or returned), it could have settings on it already. Try factory resetting it and starting over. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. That should get you back to factory resettings.
