How to turn off Wifi extender function in Extender AX1800/EAX15v2
Hi,
I purchased the above extender a few weeks ago. I only really wanted the device to act as a wireless bridge, but went for this model to allow me to use it in other situations in future if required.
Since installation it's significantly slowed my wifi speeds down, and also is making the same physical network device show up multiple times in the router connection panel making it very difficult to work out what devices are actually connected to my network and using what data etc.
I want to turn the wifi extender function off completely, and only use it as a wireless bridge. Is this possible? So far it's been a nuisance, and I wish I'd just run an ethernet cable instead. I'm not looking for advice about troubleshooting speeds etc, I just want to switch the extender function off.
Thanks for any help.

Let me ask a question. If you "turn off the wireless function" how do you expect it to connect back to the router?
Basically, no, you can't disable the wireless repeater function because its needed for the wireless connection back to the router.
What you can do is disable the mesh/one ssid function and set it with its own ssid. That way you can choose to connect devices to it or not.
