Scammers are good at doing this. Why do I have to pay that when I paid for the product and I'm supposed to have 90 days of tech support free.---You do have 90 days of free support. If you contact actual support. I've never had a problem like this with Netgear. I'll never buy another product from them again. They're not going to have any business with the university or either and we had millions of dollars of their equipment.
What method of setup are you using?
WPS? Installation assistant?
where does it fail in the process?
If you set it up using the push button WPS option, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
