If I have my Netgear EX7000 setup as an access point can I use the WPS button on to connect to it?

I have my Netgear EX7000 connected to my home router via an ethernet cable and setup as an access point.  Do I have to use a computer and connect to it or can I use the WPS button on the back of the unit to connect via WPS?  Which my home devices are not all computers and must be connected via WPS in order to work so I cannot use standard connection methods using a PW it has to be via WPS.

  • If I'm not mistaken, you should still be able to use WPS to join wireless devices to the EX7000.  But you can't use the physical WPS button on the EX7000.  That's reserved for joining the EX7000 to the router.  Instead, you have to use the "soft" WPS button by logging into the EX7000 and going to Settings > Do More > Connect Devices (WPS).
