In setting up my AC 1200 Dual Band WiFi Mesh Extender

When trying to set up my extender using Nighthawk I get as far as:. Enter Your Password to Verify.  It then list my Network name and I enter the correct password but it says incorrect.  I have verifed the name both through my iPhone and the Xfinity cable system which respond to nthe vpoice command "What is my WiFi Information". I have very carefully used display to verify I am typing it correctly but it continues to say Password Incorrect. What more can I do?

  • If you're facing difficulty setting up your Nighthawk extender and receiving an "Incorrect Password" message, you can take a few steps. Try restarting the extender and updating its firmware, as this can often resolve compatibility issues. If the problem persists, consider performing a factory reset and following the setup process again. Additionally, explore alternative setup methods, such as using the WPS button, or contact Nighthawk and Xfinity customer support for specific assistance based on your device and network details.
