Installation EX2700

Tried installing the range extender via WPS, Power Indicator on Green, WPS indicator on Green, Router on Green - Device indicator does not light up. Is there a surefire method of installing this range extender please ?

    Are you sure its not installed? If the only light not on is the device light, it usually means nothings connected to the extender. 

    did you connect something to it via wireless?

      Thanks for your reply. I tried connecting my Samsung Tablet but when the available networks show up the "MyHomeNetwork_T" ( I use Virgin Mediaand the network starts VM.......) does not appear, just the existing network name. Tried with my Samsung phone as well with the same result.
