iOS device will not connect to EX6100 Firmware Version: V1.0.2.6_1.1.120 - won't accept password
I have been using this wifi extender with no issues until I updated the firmware to V1.0.2.6_1.1.120. Now I can connect back to my router, my iMAC connects to the Extender, but none of my iOS devices...

I am having the same issue after I installed the firmware V1.0.2.6_1.1.120. Devices connect for 20 seconds and then they are dropped then connect to the router and then back to the extender, back to the router, then to the network and this vicious circle keeps happening causing none of the device to stay connected to the internet. To make things worse, I lost the ability to set up the 5GHz network as its greyed out where I can't click to activate it.
I want to go back to the old firmware as this new one does NOT work!!
I also rebooted the extender and also pushed it back to factory settings and I'm still having issues with devices staying connected.

Hello Leeza
Have you reverted back to a older firmware and the issues do not happen?

Hi DarrenM, I too can reproduce this issue on iOS Devices. I can confirm that I updated to EX6100-V1.0.2.6_1.1.120 which breaks the ability to connect to iOS devices (I tested on iOS 9 & 10 on and iPhone and an iPad). After rolling back to V1.0.0.28_1.0.66 functionality was restored.
If there is any other information I can provide to you or your engineers please let me know.
Thanks,
Kristian

Boom. Rolled back. All settings saved automatically without having to export. Updated back to V1.0.0.28_1.0.66 as suggested and seems to be holding firm.
I hope the Netgear moderators and taking note on this.
Thanks everyone.
