Is the EX7000 a WIFI range extender or is it an AP?
I need a new range extender after the last storm we had blew out half my network and many other things. I think the EX7000 is the one for me BUT I get two different sets of information on the Netgea...
It can be both depending on how you set it up.
If you set it up with a hardwired connection back to the router you set it up in Access point mode.
If you set it up using wireless as the connection back to the router, you use extender mode.
