Long range extender with Orbi RBS20
I have Orbi RBS20 inside my house and I am happy with the coverage and speed. I need the wifi range to go out about 200ft in my backyard. There's mostly clear line of sight from my back patio. Orbi does not make thir outdoor range extenders anymore. I was thinking of buying Omada EAP650-Outdoor that I would mount near the sofit of my back patio. I might be able to pull ethernet. Will this arrangement work if I am able to connect the EAP650 to my orbi? With or without ethernet?
I am open to suggestions on getting wifi out 200ft from my house.
Thanks

200 feet is a long ways for Wi-Fi. Ethernet would be best for that distance. CAT6A STP cabling is recommended.

Please describe the situation in more detail.
- Is the goal to be able to use a mobile WiFi device such as a laptop or tablet anywhere in a space 200ft long and ??? feet wide?
- Is the goal to connect a WiFi device that is permanently located about 200ft from the house?
- Is there electrical power at that location?
