Looking for a device which wiil enable me to establish a local network

Some more input:
1. Security is not an issue
2. I do need a lot of bandwidth, and quite a lot of devices (couple of dozens), although for start few devices will do fine
3. I prefer not to use a laptop, since I need a mobile and lightweight solution
4. I need a range of about 10m radius
5. I guess that a smartphone with hotspot enabled won't be enough for a lot of bandwidth and more than a few devices...
Appreciate any solution that could meet these needs :)
How much bandwidth do you need per device?
Do you have any idea if the devices can do 5 GHz or will they be 2.4 GHz only?
Since this is outdoors, is A/C power available?

No - no idea about 5 of 2.4 GHz - why is this a consideration?
A/C power is not available, but I can take a battery, or better - get a device with a built in battery, like on of these:
5 GHz vs 2.4 GHz is a consideration because there is much more bandwidth available at 5 GHz than at 2.4 GHz. But Voice over IP is not a high bandwidth application, so you may be able to get away with just using 2.4 GHz. Besides, without A/C power, that really limits your choices to travel routers unless you use a DC to AC power inverter. Almost all travel routers are 2.4 GHz only. The only dual band travel router I can find is made by D-Link but one review said that it's limited to 5 devices which, if true, would not meet your needs. Any N300 class travel router that can support a couple dozen of users should work.
