Can you set a static address for the EX8000 within the Technicolor DGA4231
- MARTIN1277Jul 21, 2020AspirantI’m not sure I will send. Support request over to them and ask? Thanks

I have just chased support as I still haven'y heard back. Any other thoiughts, the speed dramitically reduce when the Maximum Throughput lights goes off.... Do you know what this light actually does, I've tried goggling but doesn't make a lot of sense?
Thanks
Martin
- plemansJul 27, 2020Guru - Experienced UserIts basically stating it has the "best" connection back to the router.
have you tried moving the router or the extender? maybe something in the walls is blocking signals. Sometimes a lateral move with either can help as much or more than moving closer.
or trying to change the wifi channel you're broadcasting on for the 5ghz. maybe its dropping when another device starts broadcasting on that channel. - MARTIN1277Jul 27, 2020Aspirant
Thanks again, I have also just read that disablling the Enable Dynamic QoS could be the issue, but can' see where to do that..
