Model EAX80 - connected with WPS and cannot access to update firmware

I have connected my Nighthawk AX8 Model EAX80 via wps.  It shows connected to my Comcast home network.  I am trying to check the update of my firmware and I cannot access the router through the nighthawk app or through the http://miwifiext.local/ .  Hindsight is 20/20 and I should have used the app vice wps button to connect.  Any suggestions?

    Log into the comcast router and look at its attached devices list (or equivelent). On there it should list the extender with an ip address. 

    Use that ip address to access it.
