model# EX7300 - APP WON'T SIGN IN - SAYS WRONG PASSWORD BUT I CAN SIGN IN TO NETGEAR.com no problem

I went into Netgear and changed my account information and created a new password but the app won't sign in to wi fi . It keeps saying  Issues connecting  to Butch5G EXT , when I check wi fi. It says, "  Authentication error "  I'm lost . HELP  . The phone support for the first 30 days  of support has been disconnected . Should I just return this product as there is no help for it to set it up ??? It certainly is not user friendly
