multiple networks AC3000
I have the extender on the first floor, and the router on the second. There is a WiFi network associated with each, but my mobile devices only recognize one network at a time. So when I'm near the WiFi extender, I switch my tablet to that network for excellent speeds; but when I carry that tablet upstairs, it stays connected to the Extender network and has slow speeds. I have to manually switch it to the router's network for faster speeds.
Can I get the network to act as a single network, and not require manual switching from network to network?

Are you using the "onessid wifi" feature on the EX8000? meaning it uses the same ssid as the router? if so, then the device auto-roams based off its own roaming protocol. If you're not using it or if you're running the EX8000 in ap mode, then you do need to continue manually doing it. (there's some apps that can for devices to auto-switch based off rssi strength)
