My ax1600 just stopped working.
My Extender was working great for the last 7 months, all 4 lights green. Then about a month ago the 2nd light ( wi fi ) turned amber, then a week or so later, it turned red, and now its off. I changed absolutely nothing. I tried resetting it 5 or 6 times , still dead. Do these things not even last for a year ?

1. what extender do you have? AX**** is a speed not a model
2. what firmware is on it?
3. what router are you connecting it to?
4. Are you installing it using wps or using the installation assistant
5. without knowing model, its tough to confirm what the 2nd light is.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with for finding out what each led means and does.
