My router and device lights are off

I have a net gear extension but I took it out of a plug extender thing to put a different plug underneath it, then plugged the net gear extension back in the router and device lights were off. I waite...

Have you simply tried factory resetting it and reinstalling it?

I recommend installing with the installation assistant.
