N300 Extender has intermittent operation
Connected the extender within about 10' of wifi camera that had poor connectivity. 2.4Ghz network with a partition created for cameras. So we have:
1. networkrouter2.4G
2. networkrouter2.4Gpartiton
the partition has as weak signal at camera location, so an N300 extender was configured to networkrouter2.4Gpartition, this created:
networkrouter2.4Gpartition_EXT
So camera was reconfigured to networkrouter2.4Gpartition_EXT
First few days camera connects and works great, then poor connectivity and intermitent connectivity. Sometimes it works, but most times not. Please help

Hi Speedy1954,
Make sure extender is half way between your cameras and router. Also, try changing channel on router which can help you better. Do check for firmware upgrade for extender if any and see if your issue persist.

Ok will try moving the extender, how do I check for firmware upgrade? Is a dual band router, does the 2.4G go away when 5G is in use? Thx

Hi Speedy1954,
2.4GHz should not get disabled, but device can connect only to 2.4 or 5 at a time. Please use the below link for firmware upgrade.
