N300 Wifi Range Extender
I have purchased a N300 Wifi Range Extender Model EX2700. I have set it up as an extender, but I would like to have it work with my current network. I have my main network set up as Wifi 1, my extender is Wifi 1_EXT. Can I join them to both be Wifi 1?

You can.....ish.
You can certainly make them the same ssid. Only problem you'll get is some devices aren't going to roam from the router to the extender and are going to experience poor performance in these cases.
