Need Help With Extending Wifi with Ethernet Option

I have a NETGEAR R6200 wireless router and I want to connect a LINKSYS SPA1001 Analog Adater to a room. The adapter requires an ethernet cord and the room is way too far to run an ethernet cable to it. I was thinking of getting a NETGEAR AC1200 WiFi Range Extender - Essentials Edition (EX6120-100NAS) as it has an ethernet port for attaching the Adaptor. Do you think this will work and if not can you give some advice on a better way of going about this? Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Yes this should work but remember that you can lose up to half your internet speed when using a extender so as long as you can get that min amount of speed needed for that linksys device you will be fine.
