Need help with selecting "range extender" to be used with N750 rotuer
I currently own the N750 router which is part number WNDR4000. I've been trying to use my old DIR655 as "range extender" as the wireless on opposite end of home is quite weak. Unfortunately, it's only working part of the time.
Is there a recommended "range extender" from Netgear to purchase for use with the N750 router I already own?
I need better wireless signal and I would like to plug range extender or similar device into a wired switch I have in this room.
I want something reliable and easy to use/troubleshoot.
Please let me know the best options. Thanks.

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoDistance will be still an issues for most part. Unless you can place extender closer to then currently location other extender may just behave same way.
Look at power line device - Can I purchase a range extender which has a "wired" connection as I have a switch in the room where I want to increase the wireless signal?

How would a "powerline" improve my wireless range?- jmizoguchiVirtuosoSee product page for extender at Netgear.com
- Their product page is not helpful. It's actually making this more confusing.
