When the power has been cut off sometimes the extender will reset it self in my case it does sometimes, so the extender ssid wil be changed tot NETGEAR_EXT and the security is open so if your NETWORK already was NETGEAR_EXT with a security on it then your device does not connect to the Extender any more then you have to delete it in your system or change security to open.
