netgear 32 and galaxy S2

First I hope this is the right place to post. I have NO clue.

I have a Netgear 32 router. Just bought a Galaxy S2 phone, cant get wifi on the galaxy.

I have 2 other laptops and an android phone that all work fine w/ the wifi. Other searches said to turn off encryption?? If no other suggestions can you tell me how I do that? Will my other devices still work?

Thanks...BTW... I hope I'm not the only person confused by this technology and lingo.

    OK Sorry. As I stated in my original post, I really have no clue where to post. Are these forums for people who have technical knowledge?? I'm not being facetious, but please if this is a place where someone can help me....can you please be more specific on where I should post. I hit your suggested forum, however, its a bunch of sub-forums, I don't want to take another educated guess.... we see how that turns out.

    OR is there a tutorial on here where it is explained??
