Netgear AC1750

I am trying to set up my new extender to my Verizon Mifi.  I am using the Nighthawk app.  I am asked for a password and provide the password for the Mifi and it keeps stating it is incorrect.  I also tried the password I use for my Netgear account and that does not work either.  Any idea what I am doing wrong?
