Netgear AX 1800 Wi-Fi extender

Question

I recently purchased a netgear ax 1800 Wi-Fi extender, model EAX14. I currently have spectrum internet and some spot in my home are dead zones . I bought this hoping to help that issue. Well I followed the directions and it will not connect , I do not have an option in my cellphone , NETGEAR_EXt. I downloaded the netgear app for the"EASY" setup . NOTHING is working

What actual router are you connecting it to?When you first tried setup, did you try the wps method of install?&nbsp;

I have spectrum and their supplied equipment . "Askey,SAC2V1K model" I assume spectrum has parameters set do it won't allow this unless it's their equipment .

did you try installing using the installation assistant and NOT wps?
