NETGEAR AX3000 WiFi extender setup no netgear_ext WiFi found to connect to
I have the above extender. It connected to my former router fine. New router (same kind as former) and there is no netgear_ext WiFi to connect to. I tried reset, etc. same result. Is there a fix for this?
Thank you! That worked! Note for others on this topic: T-Mobile 5g cell routers don’t support WPS setup. I had to move the extender to within 10 feet of the router before I reset it.

Usually people don't end up holding reset long enough or while powered on.
While its powered on, push and hold reset until the lights blink. Usually 7-15 seconds.
That should get it back to the defaults.
You can also try the WPS version of install. That works well with most newer devices.
