NetGear EX3700 WiFi range extender

Hi fellows,

I have an EX3700 WiFi to extend the dual-band ranges of the IPS WiFi router/modem. However, I'm not able to reach NetGear's MyWiFiExt URL. I have tried many ways to access it with its actual account information, but all the browsers don't reach the URL.

None of the following tries have worked:

  1. Use of static IP;
  2. Use of "extender's default IP address: 192.168.250";
  3. Disable of macOS Firewall settings;
  4. Make URL an exception to browsers' protecction/security/privacy settiengs;
  5. Adjusts IPS router/modem configuration.

Related Technical Info:

  • OS: macOS 14.1
  • IPS WiFi router/modem: Arris Sys-TG2492LG-NA
  • NetGear EX3700

Is there somebody that can help me to figure out a solution to this?

  • did you log into the arris and check its attached devices page (or equivelent)?

    If so, try using that ip address.

      Yesterday when I was figuring out and troubleshooting for some reason the client ids list was null. I recently checking again, the list have the devices info including the IP of the extender. Now, hopefully I will be able to get the most of the extender, while I try to find a time to do the due research for a top-notch WiFi modem.

      I urgently need it to do both, to many computers, devices, and HD/SD TV boxes for a basic modem on a single network.

      Thank you very much for your time.
