Netgear EX6120 extender

Hi, I recently bought this extender as my Internet would not reach to the back of my house. I normally have a laptop and my mobile connected to the WiFi. At the start it worked great, but now anytime I look at my phone it shows the exclamation mark beside the WiFi signal bars and say connected without Internet. It lets me connect again, but drops after a few mins everytime. No issues with the laptop connection. Any ideas please?

    1. what router is it connected to? 

    2. what distance is the router from the extender? The extender should be half way between the router and where you need coverage as it still needs a good signal to re-broadcast

    3. what method of setup did you use? WPS? Installation assistant? mobile app?

      Hey, I have sky broadband router. Its plugged in at the front door and the extender is plugged in, in my kitchen, about 14 foot away. This is about 10 foot to the sunroom which is where I use the laptop, which stays connected, but my mobile keeps disconnecting. I set up the extender using the online website .mywifiext .net

        what router is it? 

        Some have their own issues. 

        Also, if you set it up with wps, try resetting the extender and setting it up using the installation assistant
