NETGEAR EX6120

Hi!

I am on the latest firmware. My extender is connected to the host network. However surprisingly the extended network is always Amber. Anyone knows why?

There's 2 led's on the top. Router link led (top left) and device link led (top right).  Which one is it specifically?

Both mean that its a good connection. Your options are A. best connection  B. good connection   C. Poor connection

If its router link, you could try moving the extender closer or even just a couple feet to a different outlet. Sometimes hvac/foil insulation causes blockage.

If its the device link, its related to where your device is in regards to the extender.

here's the link for your support page. it has the manual that explains this.
